FPWA is one of the main organisations in WA offering clinical training in sexual and reproductive health. This means there may sometimes be two health professionals involved in a consultation. The person in charge of the consultation is an FPWA doctor or nurse who works alongside someone doing training. This person can be a qualified nurse or doctor, medical or nursing student or health worker. Clients can request to see a male or female practitioner but this may not always be possible.
