Northbridge Clinical Services

Emergency appointments are available every day for issues such as unintended pregnancy counselling and assessment, emergency contraception, IUD complications and for people with symptoms of an STI.

The main FPWA Sexual Health Services clinic is located at 70 Roe Street Northbridge (corner of Roe and Lake streets), a short walk from the Perth train station and the Wellington Street bus depot.
There is metered street parking in Lake St and several City of Perth Car Parks close by.

Quarry Health Centre for Under 25s

Quarry Health Centre provides a confidential, affordable sexual health service for young people in a safe and supportive atmosphere. The Quarry Health Centre, located at the rear of 7 Quarry Street Fremantle, is open weekdays. Limited free parking and metered street parking is available.

Appointments are preferred, though those seeking emergency contraception will be seen the same day. Session times vary so please phone to make sure a doctor or nurse is on duty.

Midland Clinic

FPWA Sexual Health Services provides a Well Women’s Pap smear only clinic at Midland Women's Healthcare Place every second Tuesday. There is no annual membership fee for clients attending this clinic, however if clients attend the Quarry Health Centre or Northbridge Clinical Services the membership fee will apply.

Rockingham Clinic

The Rockingham Clinic is open each Wednesday between 9am and 4pm. Appointments are preferred, though those seeking emergency contraception will be seen the same day.

There is no annual membership fee for clients attending this clinic, however if clients attend the Quarry Health Centre or Northbridge Clinical Services the membership fee will apply.

Clinics for Men

FPWA Sexual Health Services offers several sexual health clinics especially for men.

The ‘Mainly Men’ clinic, run by the B2 clinic at Fremantle Hospital, operates on Wednesday afternoons at Quarry Health Centre  in Fremantle, and is staffed by a male clinician.

The ‘Men’s Clinic’ runs from 4:00pm to 7:30pm on Thursdays at Northbridge Clinical Services and is staffed by both male and female clinicians.
Both clinics cover all aspects of men’s sexual health, including STIs, safe sex education, contraceptive advice and sexual problems.

While men are still able to make an appointment with a female clinician at other times during the week, these clinics are for those who feel more comfortable with a male clinician.
